Good photo choices

  • ✓Original file from a phone or digital camera (JPG, PNG, HEIC)
  • ✓At least 2 megapixels - the face should be clearly visible
  • ✓Good lighting, focus on the face, neutral background
  • ✓Photos of printed photos can work - capture them in good light and avoid shadows

Avoid

  • ✗Images downloaded from Facebook or Instagram - heavily compressed
  • ✗Screenshots of images - they lose quality twice
  • ✗Images that look blurry in full size on your screen

Tip: If the image looks sharp in full screen on your display, it is usually good enough for high-quality print.
